How long does it take?
We want you and your pet’s experience with us to be a positive one and we do our best to get every pet groomed with as little stress as possible and as quickly as possible. However, we don’t want to rush through the process as this can be more stressful on your pet.
Unless, your pet has health issues or other special needs, the following is how long you should expect your pet to be with us:
Nail Trims & Walk-Ins
All of our grooming sessions are by appointment only. We only take walk-ins for nail trims between the hours of 9am-3pm. Nail trims are $20 per pet and includes filing at no additional cost.
Cancellations/No Show
In the event you need to cancel your appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance so that we can fill your spot. Failure to call in advance or failure to have your pet available for the grooming service may result in a charge of $25 which will need to be paid prior to scheduling your next appointment.
Alison has been grooming since 2014 and joined the PurrFurred Pet Styling team in 2016. She is our team’s Grooming Trainer and takes great pride in sharing her knowledge and skills with others. Her specialty is creating perfectly round faces, especially on Shih Tzu’s, and she loves doing breed-specific patterns.
Alison has a Shih-Poo named Sven, a poodle named Jigsaw, two cats named Freyja and Figaro, and a blue-tongued skink named Norbert. She hopes to one day compete in grooming competitions with her dogs, is a huge Harry Potter junkie, and enjoys photography and watching movies.
Diego joined the team in January 2020 as a Pet Bather and has been professionally bathing pets since 2018. In March 2021, Diego became certified as a Pet Groomer through the Paragon School of Pet Grooming. He has developed a passion for cat grooming and enjoys helping feline clients look and feel their best. He also enjoys working with challenging or nervous dogs, building trust with them and creating a positive grooming experience.
Diego owns a black, domestic short-hair named Wednesday and a Terrier mix named Crawl. In his free time, he likes to draw and ride his mountain bike and he loves celebrating Halloween.
Adriana joined the team at PurrFurred in 2023 as a bather at the Aurora salon. In 2024, she moved to the Warrenville salon to take on a new position as Assistant Manager and has now moved back to Aurora to further her grooming career as a Pet Stylist. She loves the interactions she gets to have with dogs every day at the salon.
Adriana’s personal pet family includes a Saint Bernard and German Shepherd mix named Max, a Poodle named Xuxa, a hound and pitbull mix named Lunala, and a bearded dragon named Butters. She enjoys crocheting things for her dogs and watching anime in her free time.
Jade started working at PurrFurred Pet Styling as an Assistant Manager in May 2024 and is now training as a Pet Stylist. One of her favorite parts of working at the salon is the team of people she gets to work with every day – they’ve been kind and welcoming to her since the very beginning!
Jade doesn’t have any furry friends of her own at home, but she does have a ball python named Opal. In her free time, she enjoys painting and art, as well as reading fantasy books
Kaitlin has been part of the PurrFurred Pet Styling family, working as a bather, since August 2024. She loves getting to see all of the different breed of dogs that come through the salon and experiencing all of their unique personalities.
