What to Expect
We want you and your pet’s experience with us to be a positive one and we do our best to get every pet groomed with as little stress as possible and as quickly as possible. However, we don’t want to rush through the process as this can be more stressful on your pet.
Unless, your pet has health issues or other special needs, the following is how long you should expect your pet to be with us:
- Cats: 2 – 2.5 hours
- Small Dogs: 2 – 2.5 hours
- Large Dogs: 3 – 3.5 hours
Nail Trims & Walk-Ins: All of our grooming sessions are by appointment only. We only take walk-ins for nail trims between the hours of 9am-3pm. Nail trims are $15 per pet and includes filing at no additional cost.
Cancellations/No Show: In the event you need to cancel your appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance so that we can fill your spot. Failure to call in advance or failure to have your pet available for the grooming service may result in a charge of $25 which will need to be paid prior to scheduling your next appointment.

Sarah – Grooming Manager / Pet Stylist
Sarah has loved animals her whole life. She was trained and certified at the Great Lakes Academy of Pet Styling in 2001 and has been grooming ever since.
Prior to grooming, she worked as a Veterinary Technician and was trained in CPR and other various medical procedures.
Sarah really enjoys grooming poodles. She grooms them competitively at local grooming competitions, including creative styling competitions; a grooming and styling competition utilizing creative sculpting, color application, character creation and design. She has won several awards for her grooming including “Best In Show”. She has even been featured on Fox News with one of her creative styling designs.
Sarah and Jason currently have a standard poodle named Saki, a miniature poodle named Trinity (aka Trinny), a golden retriever named Jaco, another miniature poodle named Artax, and a cat named Joy.
Sarah can be found working at the Naperville and Aurora salons, and can even be found in one of our mobile units from time-to-time.
Michelle – Salon Manager / Pet Stylist
Michelle joined PurrFurred Pet Styling in 2016. She takes a lot of pride in her grooming skills and does a great job with every dog she grooms. She has been grooming since 2012 and graduated from the Academy of Dog Grooming Arts in 2013.
Michelle really enjoys grooming poodles and has two poodles of her own; a standard poodle named Yuki and a toy poodle named Atticus. She also has a horse named Apollo.
Michelle has always been involved with animals from a very young age. From the age of 8 to 16 she was part of a local 4-H club where she entered her dogs and rabbits in animal shows at the local fairs. She has also volunteered her time for a service dog organization where she raised puppies to become service dogs.
In her spare time, Michelle can normally be found at one of the areas local dog parks with Yuki and Atticus.
Amanda – Pet Stylist
Amanda joined our salon team at the Naperville location in 2018 and has many years of pet grooming experience. More info to come soon.
Meghan – Pet Groomer
Meghan joined our salon team at the Naperville location in 2018 as Pet Bather and has also become certified as a professional Pet Groomer through the Paragon School of Pet Grooming in 2019. Meghan can be found working full-time at our Naperville location
Diego – Pet Bather
Diego joined us in January of 2020 as Pet Bather. He has been professionally bathing pets since 2018. More info to come soon!
Rose – Receptionist
Rose joined us as our Front Desk Receptionist in 2019 at our Naperville location. You will most likely see Rose if you come to Naperville or when you call to schedule an appointment at our Naperville location or for mobile grooming. She can assist you with any questions you might have.
